¡Hola!

I am a "Chilanga", born in Mexico City. But I've been happily living on Isla Mujeres for seven years, giving lessons in both English and Spanish. I have ten years experience teaching language. My degree is in Language Translation, and I also speak French and a little Japanese. So you can see where my passion lies. Above all, I work to master English, which is much easier here than in Mexico City because I have met so many friends who are native English speakers. This has given me a chance to broaden my understanding of the language, including the slang and shade meanings that I enjoy learning.

I have been teaching English to Islanders, including the staff at Garrafon, but I was surprised to find that foreigners here have a great interest in learning Spanish, so I am now teaching "both ways" and find it very enjoyable. I would like to welcome to my classes those who want to learn Spanish in order to deepen their enjoyment of the lovely Island and of Mexico in general.

I am not expanding into other services involving Spanish tranlation. I can convert documents from one language to the other, help with preparation of immigration and other legal documents, and aid in any area where visitors require a complete grasp of Spanish in order to make your lives easier or proceed with your plans in Mexico.
